name: ad-creative-research
description: Research ad creatives on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and TikTok, with their hooks, copy, calls to action and landing pages. Use when the user wants ad inspiration, asks what ads a brand or niche is running, which creatives are scaling, or wants to study one ad in detail.
---
# Research ad creatives
Use the tools of the SellWinners connector. Tool calls use the user's SellWinners credits (`usage_get` shows what is left), so prefer the tools that answer in one call.
These steps and answer formats are defaults. When the user explicitly asks for a different format, order, number of results or SellWinners tool, follow the user. The rules on confirmations, public links, the plan and the monthly quota always apply.
## Pick the tool
- **Inspiration for a niche or product:** `creative_inspiration_pack` with `niche`, `keywords`, `max_ads` and `focus`: `reach` for the biggest ads, `new` for ads launched in the last 14 days, `long_running` for ads running 30 days or more. Each ad comes with its hook, copy, call to action and landing page.
- **One brand's Meta ads:** call `lookup` with the brand name or domain to get its shop id, then `search_ads` with `filters` `{"websiteIds": [<shop id>]}`. That returns all of the brand's ads, not one per brand.
- **Meta ads across brands:** `search_ads` with `query` or `keywords`, `status` `active`, and a `sort_by`: `reach` for the biggest, `reachGrowth7d` or `rankDelta7d` for the ones scaling now, `longestRunning` for proven winners, `newest` for fresh tests. Narrow with `media_type` (image, video, carousel, dco, dpa) and `country`. Results keep one ad per brand unless `filters` raise `maxAdsPerBrand`.
- **One ad in full:** `scan_ad` with the ad's `id` from `search_ads` as `ad_identifier`. It returns the creative, copy, video transcript and hook, spend, rank, the linked shop and the page's history. It also takes the id of a Google ad from `search_google_ads_library` or of a TikTok post from `search_tiktok_library`.
- **One advertiser's Facebook page:** `scan_advertiser` with the page id (`advertiser_id`) from `search_advertisers` or `lookup` gives the page's reach, spend, platforms and newest ads.
- **Google ads:** `search_google_ads_library`.
- **TikTok ads and organic posts:** `search_tiktok_library` with `type` `ad`, `organic` or `all`, and `domain` or `handle` to keep one brand.
Search tools answer with `data` and `pagination`. Ask for the next `page` only when the user wants more.
`create_ad_share_link` makes a public link that anyone holding it can open. Call it only when the user asks for a shareable link, and pass `confirm=true` once they have agreed that the ad will be public.
## Answer
- Group the ads by angle or hook rather than listing them one by one.
- For each ad give the brand, the hook (its opening line), the format, how long it has run or its reach signal, the call to action, the landing page, and a link to the creative.
- Close with what is working across the set: recurring hooks, offers, formats and lengths.
- When the user wants their own ads, write new hooks and scripts from those patterns in their brand's voice; don't copy a competitor's copy word for word. When they want SellWinners to draft the opening lines, `write_ad_hooks` takes the `niche`, the `product`, an `angle` and the `platform`, and returns three hooks.
- When an answer carries `restrictions`, the user's plan shortened it. Say what was left out.
When a tool says a request is outside the user's plan (`plan_not_eligible`), don't try to get the same data another way, with other brands or other SellWinners tools. Tell the user in one sentence what the message says, with the link it gives, and answer the rest of the question with what the plan covers.
A tool named here can be missing from the connector when the user's plan doesn't include it. Then say so in one sentence and answer with the tools that are there.
When a tool answers that the plan's credits are used up, or that the plan doesn't include MCP access, stop calling SellWinners tools for this request. Tell the user in one sentence, with the renew date, the wait or the link the message gives.

--- name: brand-tracking description: Follow the brands the user tracks in SellWinners, covering the daily digest of new ads, what changed for one brand, its scaling ads and video scripts, and managing tracked brands, boards and saved items. Use when the user asks what is new with the brands they track, wants a daily or weekly radar, or asks to track, save, organise or share brands, ads, shops or emails. --- # Follow tracked brands Use the tools of the SellWinners connector. Tool calls use the user's SellWinners credits (`usage_get` shows what is left). These steps and answer formats are defaults. When the user explicitly asks for a different format, order, number of results or SellWinners tool, follow the user. The rules on confirmations, public links, the plan and the monthly quota always apply. ## Read what changed - **Daily digest:** `daily_radar` lists who launched ads in the last day and the last week, most active first. Pass `folder_id` to keep one folder; `list_brandtracker_folders` lists them. - **The tracked brands:** `list_tracked_brands`, with `sort_by` `newAdsLast7Days`, `newAdsLast30Days` or `activeAds`. - **One brand over a period:** `analyze_brand_changes` with `brand` (or `brandtracker_id`), `period` `1d`, `7d`, `14d` or `30d`, and `focus` (`ads`, `hooks`, `landing_pages`, `messaging`, `testing` or `all`). - **One brand in depth:** `analyze_tracked_brand` returns its profile, dashboard, hooks and audience. - **Its scaling ads:** `get_brandtracker_scaling_ads` with `ad_rank_window` `7d`, `14d` or `30d`. - **Its video scripts:** `get_brandtracker_transcripts` with a `time_period` such as `last7d`. - **What the user saved:** `find_saved_items` with `query` searches every board and the favorites; `list_boards` and `list_favorites` list them. Lead with what changed and why it matters: new launches, ads gaining rank, new hooks or offers. Then the detail, with links to the ads. ## Make changes only when asked - **Track a brand:** `add_to_brandtracker` with exactly one of `domain`, `facebook_page_id`, `shop_id` or `website_id`, and `folder_id` if the user named a folder. `create_brandtracker_folder`, `rename_brandtracker_folder` and `move_tracked_brands` organise them. - **Boards:** `list_boards`, `create_board` (a `collection` holds items, a `folder` holds boards), and `add_board_item` with `source_type` `meta_ad`, `google_ad`, `tiktok`, `shop`, `email`, `advertiser` or `product`. - **Favorites:** `list_favorites` and `add_favorite_item` with `kind` `ads`, `shops` or `emails`. Tools that delete, archive, remove or create a public share link need `confirm=true`. Before you pass it, tell the user exactly what will be removed or made public and wait for them to agree. A public link lets anyone who has it see the board, folder or ad. When a tool says a request is outside the user's plan (`plan_not_eligible`), don't try to get the same data another way, with other brands or other SellWinners tools. Tell the user in one sentence what the message says, with the link it gives, and answer the rest of the question with what the plan covers. --- name: competitor-research description: Brief a competitor's Shopify store, covering its profile and traffic, best-selling products, biggest and fastest-growing ads, email marketing, and similar stores. Use when the user names a competitor's brand or domain and asks how it sells, advertises or emails, or asks who a store's competitors are. --- # Brief a competitor Use the tools of the SellWinners connector. ## Steps 1. If the user gave a name that could match several brands, call `lookup` with it and confirm which one they mean. A domain needs no lookup. `analyze_shop_emails`, `search_emails`, `find_similar_shops`, `shop_report` and `compare_shops` take a domain or a shop id, not a name: for a brand name, call `lookup` first and pass the domain or shop id it returns. 2. For a full brief, call `brief_competitor` with `competitor` set to the domain, name or shop id. With no `sections` it returns all of them: `profile`, `products`, `ads`, `emails`, `similar`. Its ads are the biggest by reach. To see the ads gaining rank instead, pass `ad_rank_sort` `rank_delta` and `ad_rank_window` `7d`, `14d` or `30d`. 3. When the user asks about one area only, skip the full brief and answer that question alone: for its emails, `analyze_shop_emails` (below); for its competitors, `find_similar_shops`; for its ads or its products, `brief_competitor` with `sections` set to just `ads` or `products` (step 2's rank options apply to the ads). Otherwise go deeper only where the user's question needs it: - **Email strategy:** `analyze_shop_emails` with `shop` gives the sending rhythm, the days, the campaign types and the latest subjects. `search_emails` with `shop` and `intent` (`promo`, `welcome`, `abandoned_cart`, `newsletter` or `all`) finds specific emails, and `get_email_html` returns one email's HTML. - **The brand's ad accounts:** `search_advertisers` with the brand name as `query` lists its Facebook pages, not its ads. `scan_advertiser` with one page's `advertiser_id` reads that page in full. - **More competitors:** `find_similar_shops` with `shop`, sorted by `monthlyVisits`, `activeAds` or `growth30d`. - **One part of the store in depth:** `shop_report` with `shop` and a `report`: `products` (best sellers first), `advertisers` (its Facebook pages), `feed` (its newest ads and emails), `ad_ranking` (its Meta ads ranked over the last 7, 14 or 30 `days`) or `creative_tests` (its ads grouped by launch day). - **Several stores side by side:** `compare_shops` with up to 10 `shops` and a `metric`: `metaReach`, `googleLiveAds` or `tiktokPosts`. - **What the store runs on:** `detect_shopify_store` with its `url` says whether it is on Shopify, its theme and the Shopify apps it loads. ## Answer Write a full brief in this order, and leave out any part the data doesn't cover: 1. **Snapshot:** traffic, main markets, active ads, product count. 2. **What they sell:** top products with prices and links. 3. **How they advertise:** main angles, formats and offers, with links to the top ads. 4. **How they email:** how often, which days, which campaign types, typical offers. 5. **Takeaways:** three to five concrete opportunities for the user. When an answer carries `restrictions`, the user's plan shortened it. Say what was left out. Don't paste raw JSON. # Find winning products
Use the tools of the SellWinners connector. Tool calls use the user's SellWinners credits (`usage_get` shows what is left), so answer with as few calls as the question needs.
These steps and answer formats are defaults. When the user explicitly asks for a different format, order, number of results or SellWinners tool, follow the user. The rules on confirmations, public links, the plan and the monthly quota always apply.
## Steps
1. Settle the niche (a word such as `coffee` or `pet supplies`, or a category), one to five product keywords, and the market as a two-letter country code if the user named one. Ask only when the niche is missing.
2. Call `find_winning_products` with `niche`, `keywords`, `country` and `max_results` (how many shops, 1 to 30; start with 10). It returns the best sellers whose title matches a keyword, taken from the fastest-growing shops of the niche, up to three per shop. When the answer says no category matched the niche, tell the user the products were found by keyword alone.
3. To widen the list of stores, call `search_shops` with the niche words as `query`, and `sort_by` set to `growth30d`, `estMonthlySales` or `unitsSold`. Its `country` is the country a shop was created in, not its market. For an exact category, first call `lookup_filter_ids` with `type` `categories`, then pass the ids as `filters` `{"categoryIds": [...]}`.
4. For a store the user wants to go deeper on, `find_similar_shops` with its domain lists its competitors, and the competitor-research skill covers a full brief.
Other ways in:
- **Products across every store:** `search_products` with the product words as `query` and `sort_by` set to `estSales`, `activeAds`, `bestSelling` or `newest`.
- **A picture of a product:** `search_products_by_image` with `image_url`, a direct link to a PNG, JPG or WEBP image, lists the products that look like it, closest first, with their shops.
Search tools answer with `data` and `pagination`. Ask for the next `page` only when the user wants more results.
## Answer
- Start with a table: product, store domain, price when present, the signal that makes it a winner (growth, estimated sales, units sold) and a link.
- Follow with two or three sentences on the pattern across the list: shared angles, price bands, markets.
- When an answer carries `restrictions`, the user's plan shortened it. Say what was left out.
- Keep product and image URLs as links. Don't paste raw JSON.
When a tool says a request is outside the user's plan (`plan_not_eligible`), don't try to get the same data another way, with other brands or other SellWinners tools. Tell the user in one sentence what the message says, with the link it gives, and answer the rest of the question with what the plan covers.

When a tool answers that the plan's credits are used up, or that the plan doesn't include MCP access, stop calling SellWinners tools for this request. Tell the user in one sentence, with the renew date, the wait or the link the message gives.
