Description
From the marketplace listing
Shape Construction connects your Shape projects to ChatGPT. Ask questions about what’s happening on site and get answers from your live project data, without switching apps. Find open issues, catch up on shift reports, check weekly work plans, look up documents and see who’s involved in a project, all in the conversation. The plugin only reads data. It can search and read your Shape records, but it can’t create, change or delete anything. You sign in with your own Shape account, and it only sees the projects and records you can already see in Shape. Key features Issues: search and review issues across your projects, including their status and progress. Shift reports: catch up on what happened on site, by day or across a period. Weekly work plans: see what’s planned and how it’s going. Documents: find and look up documents stored in Shape. People: see who’s working on a project and their role. Read-only and secure: nothing in Shape is changed, and your existing access rights always apply.

# Get started with Shape
Shape gives read-only access to the user's construction projects in Shape. It
cannot create, change or delete anything.
1. Call `list_projects` to confirm the sign-in works and to see which projects
the user can open.
- If the call fails with an authentication error, ask the user to reconnect
Shape and sign in with their Shape account.
- If the list is empty, tell the user their Shape account has no projects
yet and stop.
2. Show the projects as a short list: name, status and region. Mention that
archived projects are included.
3. Ask which project they want to work on. If there is only one active
project, propose it.
4. Suggest three things to try on that project, for example:
- "What issues are still open, and which are critical?"
- "Summarise the latest shift report."
- "Which photos show the problem in the lobby?"
Keep the setup short. Don't read project data beyond `list_projects` until the
user picks a project.
site-briefing1.34 KB
--- name: site-briefing description: Write a short catch-up on one Shape project from its live data - open and critical issues, the latest shift report and any time lost. Use when the user asks for a site update, project catch-up or morning briefing from Shape. --- # Site briefing Build a briefing for one project the user names. Everything comes from Shape's read-only tools; never say that anything in Shape was changed. 1. Find the project with `list_projects`. If the name matches more than one project, or none, ask the user which one they mean. 2. Issues: call `list_issues` for the project. Report how many are open, then name the critical ones and any that are causing a delay, with their issue references. 3. Site activity: call `list_shift_reports`, then `get_shift_report` and `get_shift_report_sections` for the most recent one. Summarise the work done, how many people were on site and any time lost, with its cause. 4. Close with up to three points that need attention, each tied to an issue or shift report from steps 2 and 3. Rules: - Use only what the tools return. If a section has no data, say so in one line rather than guessing. - Give dates in the project's timezone (`get_project`). - Keep it to about 200 words unless the user asks for more. - Leave out email addresses and other personal details the user didn't ask for.
