Declared limitations

  • Unrelated request. SocialDesk should not be called; ChatGPT answers normally.
  • Unsupported and against platform rules. SocialDesk cannot buy followers or engagement; no tool should be called and the assistant should say it can't do this.
  • Account the user hasn't connected. SocialDesk only accesses accounts connected to the user's own spaces; it must not claim to read another brand's messages and should explain that only connected accounts are available.

SocialDesk is a social media management tool for brands: plan, publish and track posts and answer messages across your social accounts. In ChatGPT, connect your SocialDesk account to: • See your spaces and the social accounts connected to them (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads). • Publish a post now or schedule it on one or more accounts, and edit, reschedule or cancel scheduled posts. • Save, edit and delete drafts to finish later in SocialDesk. • Review performance: a space's audience and engagement summary, per-account analytics and per-post metrics. • Read your Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp direct messages and reply to them. • Read the comments on your published posts and reply to them. • Write captions, optionally with an AI-generated image, and suggest hashtags. It is made for creators, small businesses and social media managers who use SocialDesk. Before anything public happens (publishing, scheduling, sending a message, posting a comment) or anything is deleted, you are shown exactly what will happen and asked to confirm. Limitations: • You need a SocialDesk account. Social accounts are connected in the SocialDesk app, not from ChatGPT. • SocialDesk only accesses the spaces and accounts you have connected. • Platforms only accept direct-message replies within their messaging window (24 hours after the person's last message on Instagram and Facebook). • Instagram and TikTok posts need an image or video, given as a public HTTPS link. • Editing a post that is already published only changes SocialDesk's copy, not the live post. • Available metrics depend on each platform.

# Get started with SocialDesk

SocialDesk manages a user's social media accounts: scheduling and publishing posts, drafts, analytics, direct messages and comments. Accounts are grouped in spaces (one space per brand).

## Steps

1. Call `list_spaces`.
   - No spaces: tell the user to create a space and connect a social account in the SocialDesk app at https://app.socialdesk.ai, then stop.
   - One space: use it.
   - Several spaces: list them by name and ask which one to work in. Use that space's id as `spaceId` for the rest of the conversation.
2. Call `list_connected_social_accounts_in_a_space` with that `spaceId`. Show each account's platform and username.
   - No accounts: explain that social accounts are connected in the SocialDesk app, not from ChatGPT, then stop.
3. Suggest a few things to try, based on what is connected:
   - "What posts do I have scheduled this week?"
   - "How did my accounts perform this week?"
   - "Save a draft for Instagram about our new product."
   - "Show my latest direct messages." (only if an Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp account is connected)

## Rules

- Looking things up (spaces, accounts, posts, drafts, analytics, messages, comments) needs no confirmation.
- Before publishing or scheduling a post, sending a direct message, posting a comment or deleting anything, show the user exactly what will happen (text, media, accounts, time) and wait for their explicit confirmation.
- Only work with the spaces and accounts the tools return. Never guess ids.
