Description

From the marketplace listing

TeX64 turns course material into Japanese lecture notes, exam summaries, exercise sheets, and simple academic reports. It rebuilds diagrams, tables, and charts from material read in the conversation, preserves source references and values, and returns a PDF with page previews. Diagrams and tables remain editable. Compilation runs in an isolated sandbox with no network access. Staged source files expire 60 minutes after the last write; PDF and preview links expire within the hour. No TeX64 account is needed, and there is no document history.

# Create a TeX64 document

Keep interaction plain and concise. The user never needs to know that TeX is
used internally.

Whenever a choice is needed, prefer the client's structured question UI (Codex `request_user_input`, Claude `AskUserQuestion`, or an equivalent) over a plain-text question. Ask one question at a time. Fall back to plain text only when the client does not expose a structured question tool.

1. Infer the document kind from the request. If it is genuinely unclear, ask only whether they want a visually structured study handout or a restrained report.
2. Do not ask about fonts, TeX commands, packages, engines, margins in millimetres, or other production details. Unless the user already specified a page size, use B5 for study handouts and A4 for reports. Translate visual wishes such as “soft,” “formal,” “compact,” or “easy to read” into internal settings yourself.
3. Call `doc_types` to choose the closest structure. The page comes with the document type; the one visual choice left is `theme` (`light` / `dark`), so pass `theme=dark` when the user asks for a black background, white-on-black, or a dark theme, and pass the same value to `compile_document`.
4. Call `scaffold_document` and adapt its structure to the user's material. When a figure or table helps, follow [the standard source-to-visual workflow](references/source-visuals.md) before finishing the source: reopen the saved original, reconstruct editable visuals, verify cells/series/connections against it, and inspect the full compiled pages. Use tikzify / tablify for complex visuals; keep sample data explicitly labeled. Keep production comments in the internal source; do not ask the user to confirm production settings unless they explicitly care about them.
5. Call `check_document` on the finished source before typesetting. Scaffold placeholders (`<ここに…>`) and `% TODO` slots with nothing written under them count as violations; pass `draft=true` only for an interim structural check while you are still filling the skeleton.
6. Then take whichever route the environment actually supports:
   - **You can write files and run `latexmk` locally:** call `get_style_files` (start with `list=true`), write the files into the user's project, read `compile_guide`, compile, render pages to images, and inspect them.
   - **You cannot (ChatGPT, or the user has no TeX):** immediately call `prepare_compile`, then call `compile_document` with the returned one-time `compileToken`, the source, and the same `preset` / `paper` / `prefix` / `theme` used by the scaffold. If the full source is too long to write in one call (roughly beyond one chapter), do not shorten it: put each chapter in its own file with `stage_file` (one call per chapter, `append=true` to continue a file), `\input` them from a short main source, and pass the returned `uploadId` to `check_document` (so the chapters are checked too) and to `compile_document`. Staged files survive a retry, so resend only the files you changed. The token is mandatory and cannot be reused. The server generates the styles, typesets, and returns a temporary PDF link plus page images. Do not ask the user to install TeX, and do not call `get_style_files` first — the server builds the styles itself.
7. Never call `compile_document` before `prepare_compile`; repeat the pair for every retry.
8. Inspect the returned page images yourself: cover, Japanese glyphs, headings, boxes, margins, page breaks. Fix the source and compile again rather than shipping something you have not looked at.
9. Show the user the PDF link and the preview images. Tell them the server link expires within the hour so they save it. Describe adjustable parts by what they look like on the page, and ask at m

[資料から図表を作る標準フロー](../create-japanese-document/references/source-visuals.md)を適用する。

- 資料から図表を選ぶ段階では `visualization_guide` を使う。
二段プリントでは figure/table の浮動体を使わず、`create_visualization` と同じ非浮動の挿入形式にする。

- poppler(pdftoppm・pdftocairo・pdftotext・pdfinfo)
- ImageMagick 7(`magick`。

```
tables/<name>.tblr           tblr / longtblr / talltblr 環境ひとつだけ。プリアンブルも table 環境も書かない
tables/<name>.preamble.tex   この表が要求する \usepackage / \UseTblrLibrary 行だけ
tables/<name>.request.md     利用者の依頼と、どう反映したかの表(references/requests.md)
tables/<name>.cells.json     元の表から読んだセル(draft.py が作る。照合に使う)
tables/<name>.pdf .svg .png  build.py が生成(Word・Markdown・スライド用)
tables/<name>.snippet.tex    貼り付け用 table 環境 + 必要プリアンブル(コメント)
```

[`references/requests.md`](references/requests.md) の形で `<name>.request.md` を作る。

入力の種類ごとの経路は [`references/sources.md`](references/sources.md)。

```bash
python3 $S/draft.py data.xlsx --sheet 集計 --name sales --out tables     # Excel
python3 $S/draft.py paper.pdf --page 3 --crop 72,180,450,200 --name t3 --out tables   # PDF の表
python3 $S/draft.py --rows 6 --cols 4 --name hand --out tables           # 画像・手書き: 空の骨組み
```

- **draft.py の出力**:`.tblr`、`.preamble.tex`、`.cells.json` を書く。

[資料から図表を作る標準フロー](../create-japanese-document/references/source-visuals.md)を適用する。

- 資料から図表を選ぶ段階では `visualization_guide` を使う。

必要なもの: Python 3.7 以上、ImageMagick 7(`magick`)、poppler(pdftoppm・pdftocairo・pdftotext・pdfinfo)、TeX Live などの TeX 環境。

```
figs/<name>.tikz           tikzpicture 環境ひとつだけ。プリアンブルもfigure環境も書かない
figs/<name>.preamble.tex   この図が要求する \usepackage / \usetikzlibrary 行だけ
figs/<name>.pdf .svg .png  build.py が生成(Word・Markdown・スライド用)
figs/<name>.snippet.tex    貼り付け用 figure 環境 + 必要プリアンブル(コメント)
```

- スタイル名にTikZの既存キー名(`in` `out` `at` `label` `step` `size` `name` `node` `shape` `color` `fill` `draw` `text` `font` `left` `right` `scale` など)を使わない。`out/.style` や `at/.style` は「requires a value」エラーになる。

- エンジン: `\documentclass`(`ltjsarticle`/`luatexja` → LuaLaTeX、`jsarticle`+`uplatex`/`platex`、`article`+pdfLaTeX、`fontspec` → Lua/XeLaTeX)。

[`references/requests.md`](references/requests.md) の形で `<name>.request.md` を `<name>.tikz` の隣に作る。
