--- name: youtube-connect description: Connect, reconnect, or add YouTube channels to Windsor.ai and resolve which connected channel a request means. Use when the user wants to connect a channel, asks what is connected, or hits a permission error. Do not use for analysis or exports. --- # Connect YouTube channels Help the user connect, reconnect, or add a YouTube channel to Windsor.ai (connector id `youtube`), and resolve which connected channel a request refers to. ## Stay in scope - Use this skill when the user wants to connect a channel, add another one, reconnect after a permission error, or asks which channels are connected. - For analysis use $youtube-insights; for recurring exports use $youtube-export. ## Workflow 1. Call get_connectors with include_not_yet_connected=True to see whether `youtube` has connected channels. 2. For a connection, call get_connector_authorization_url for a ready-to-open setup link (YouTube uses Google sign-in), or get_connector_connect_info for the auth details. Hand the user the link and tell them to authorize with the Google account that owns or manages the channel. 3. Never ask the user to paste tokens or passwords into the chat, and never describe manual dashboard navigation instead of giving the link. 4. After they finish, call get_connectors again and confirm the new channel by name. ## Channel resolution - If a request names a channel, match it to a connected account id. If several channels could match, ask which one before any read. - A permission error on a read usually means the Google account lacks access to that channel; reconnect through the same setup link with the right account. ## Support - get_windsor_login_url gives an auto-login link into the Windsor.ai dashboard; get_current_user shows who is signed in; contact_windsor files a support or feature request. Never discuss plans or pricing. ## Answer with evidence State which channels are connected, which are not, and the exact next step with its link.

--- name: youtube-export description: Set up and review recurring exports of the user's YouTube channel and video analytics to warehouses, databases, spreadsheets, or cloud storage through Windsor.ai (BigQuery, Snowflake, Google Sheets, PostgreSQL, S3, and more). Use for scheduled, daily, weekly, or automated exports and syncs. Do not use for a one-off answer. --- # Export YouTube analytics on a schedule Set up recurring exports of connected YouTube data (connector id `youtube`) to a warehouse, database, spreadsheet, or cloud storage through Windsor.ai, for example daily video views and watch time to BigQuery, or a weekly channel summary to Google Sheets. ## Stay in scope - Use this skill for recurring, scheduled, daily, weekly, or automated exports and syncs, and for questions about existing export tasks. - A one-off answer is $youtube-insights, not an export. ## Workflow 1. Call get_destination_tasks to see existing exports and avoid duplicates. 2. Call get_connectors to confirm the channels to export. 3. Call get_destinations to list destinations; note which have create_in_chat true and any reusable credentials. 4. Call get_destination_setup_info for the chosen destination to get its target fields, allowed schedules, and credential_id options. 5. Call get_fields for `youtube` to get the exact field ids to export. 6. Confirm channels, fields, destination target, credential, and schedule with the user, then call create_destination_task once. If create_in_chat is false, hand the user the setup_url instead. ## Rules - Prefer a rolling date_preset (for example last_7d) over fixed dates so each run stays fresh. - Never put secrets in config; sensitive values are entered by the user in the setup_url form. - Report the created task's id, schedule, and manage_url from the tool result. ## Hand-offs - Reporting -> $youtube-insights. Connecting a channel -> $youtube-connect.

youtube-help1.67 KB
--- name: youtube-help description: Explain what this Windsor.ai app for YouTube analytics covers (read-only channel and video performance for the user's own channels), what it does not (publishing, editing, YouTube Ads, other channels' data), and which skill handles a request. Use when the user asks what the app can do or asks for something outside its scope. --- # What this app can do This app reads analytics for the user's own connected YouTube channels through Windsor.ai (connector id `youtube`): views, watch time, average view duration, subscribers gained and lost, likes, comments, shares, and traffic sources, per channel, per video, and by day, week, or month. It is read-only. It does not publish or edit videos, change channel settings, manage comments, read other channels' public statistics, or report YouTube Ads spend (that is Google Ads, covered by the Windsor.ai Google Ads listing). ## Route the request - Reports, rankings, comparisons, trends -> $youtube-insights - Connecting, reconnecting, adding a channel, or asking what is connected -> $youtube-connect - Recurring exports and syncs -> $youtube-export - What the app covers and does not -> $youtube-help ## Answering "what can you do" - Call get_connectors with include_not_yet_connected=True and answer from it: which channels are connected and which options exist. Do not list capabilities the tool result does not show. - Reads are available on the free plan. ## Out of scope - Data from other platforms: name the Windsor.ai listing that covers them instead of attempting the read. - Generating thumbnails, titles, or video ideas, general advice unrelated to the connected channels, or anything about plans and pricing.

--- name: youtube-insights description: Report, rank, compare, and trend the performance of the user's own YouTube channels and videos through Windsor.ai - views, watch time, average view duration, subscribers gained and lost, likes, comments, shares, and traffic sources, per channel, per video, and by day, week, or month. Use when the user asks how their channel or videos are doing. Read-only - do not use to change channel settings, publish videos, connect a channel, or schedule exports. --- # YouTube insights Read live analytics for the user's connected YouTube channels through Windsor.ai and turn them into a clear report, ranking, comparison, or trend. The connector id is `youtube`. This app is read-only: it never changes anything on the channel. ## Resolve scope and time - Call get_connectors first to see which channels are connected. If none is, hand off to $youtube-connect. If several channels match, ask which one. - Read field ids from get_fields for `youtube`, and get_options for date-filter columns and connector options. Never guess field names, channel ids, or video ids. - Use the date range the user gave. If none, use a sensible preset (last_30d, this_month, last_7d) and state which one you used. Append T to a preset to include today. ## Choose the smallest useful read - Top videos -> fields [video title or id, views, watch time], rank in the answer and name the metric used. If "best" or "top" has no metric, ask which one. - Channel trend -> fields [date, views, subscribers gained] over the preset; report direction and magnitude, and net subscribers if lost is available. - Traffic sources -> fields [traffic source, views]; share of views per source. - Engagement -> likes, comments, shares against views; say when views are zero. - Keep field sets small and check for truncated or paginated results before claiming complete coverage. ## Accuracy guardrails - Watch time units come from the field definition; state minutes or hours explicitly. - Analytics for the most recent day or two can still be incomplete; say so when the range includes today or yesterday. - If a field the user wants is not in get_fields, say so rather than substituting a different metric. - Public data about other channels is not available: this app reads only the user's connected channels. ## Answer with evidence Lead with the requested result, then state the channel, the time window, and the numbers behind the conclusion. Keep internal ids and raw JSON out of the answer unless the user asks for them. ## Route the request - Reports, rankings, comparisons, trends -> $youtube-insights - Connecting, reconnecting, adding a channel, or asking what is connected -> $youtube-connect - Recurring exports and syncs -> $youtube-export - What the app covers and does not -> $youtube-help Never offer plans, upgrades, or pricing.
