# Working in Yearo

A year wheel (årshjul) shows one recurring year as a circle. It has no year: activities repeat every year. Activities have a name, a category and a time in the year. Activities in the same category share a colour and a ring, so keep to at most six categories per wheel and reuse the wheel's existing ones.

## Order of work

1. Call `list_wheels` first. Most users have one wheel; add to it rather than creating another.
2. Call `get_wheel` before changing anything, so you see existing activities and categories and avoid duplicates.
3. Add with `add_activities`. Remove with `remove_activities` (ids from `get_wheel`). There is no update: to move or rename an activity, remove it and add it again.
4. Finish by giving the user the wheel's `url` so they can open it.

## Writing `when`

Use plain text, Swedish or English: a month (`mars`), a day (`1 mars`), a range (`1–15 mars`, `mars–april`), a quarter (`Q2`), `hela året`, or several separated by commas (`mars, september`). If a tool call fails because `when` could not be read, fix only the listed rows and send the whole batch again; nothing was saved.

## Good defaults when the user is vague

- Suggest 20 to 40 activities, grouped in 4 to 6 categories, before adding. Ask first if the user has not described the organisation.
- Only recurring work belongs in a wheel. One-off projects do not.
- Keep names short, a few words, in the user's language.
- Confirm before removing activities; removal cannot be undone.
