"description": "Compare residential electricity plans for any Texas ZIP in a retail-choice area (Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi and more). Prices include energy, delivery and monthly fees at the usage you give, so you see what a month would cost, not a headline rate. Bill-credit (rebate) plans are shown separately with and without the credit, so the catch is visible before you choose. Ask at 800, 1,000, 1,500 kWh or any usage from 500 to 3,000. Prices come from AskTexasEnergy's saved snapshot, scheduled to refresh four times a day. This app does not enroll you; every result links to the matching page on asktexasenergy.com, where you can review the Electricity Facts Label and sign up with the provider.",

"long_description": "Trying to make sense of Power to Choose? Ask here instead. Give a Texas ZIP and roughly how much electricity you use, and get what each plan would actually cost per month, delivery and fees included, so you know if that's all you would pay. Picking the lowest per-kWh rate often backfires: many plans only hit their advertised price at exactly 1,000 kWh and charge far more at 999. Bill-credit plans are shown with the price with the credit and the price without it, so you see the catch before you sign up. Works for Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi and any other retail-choice area, at any usage from 500 to 3,000 kWh, so you can ask \"what about in winter when I use 800.\" Useful when your contract is ending, when you're moving to Texas, or when you want a second opinion on a plan someone else picked for you. Prices come from AskTexasEnergy's saved snapshot, scheduled to refresh four times a day. This app does not enroll you. Each result links to asktexasenergy.com, where you can read the Electricity Facts Label; any sign-up happens on the electricity provider's own site, not in ChatGPT. AskTexasEnergy may earn a referral fee from an enrollment partner if you sign up through those links. Privacy policy: asktexasenergy.com/privacy.",
