The connection is a thin relay between ChatGPT and your site: your posts, pages and comments pass straight through and are never stored, and no password is ever stored. You approve access in your own WordPress, and you can remove it there at any time.\n\nConnecting takes two approvals on your own site: you enter your site address, approve access in WordPress, and you are ready. If AI Engine is not installed yet, it is installed and set up for you from WordPress.org during that step. There is no separate account to create.\n\nEverything happens with your own WordPress permissions.
