Use when the user asks for a cover letter for a specific job or job posting.\n---\n\n# Cover letter with PokeBot\n\nPokeBot's resume tools for this are `show_resume_input` and `generate_cover_letter`.\n\n1. You need the user's resume and the job description, as text they pasted in this chat or the text of a file they attached to the chat. Never write or guess either text.\n - If the resume is missing, call `show_resume_input`. In its Cover Letter tab the user can attach or paste their resume, paste the job description, and write the letter there.\n - If the user then pastes or attaches the texts in the chat instead, call `generate_cover_letter`, not `analyze_resume`.\n - If only the job description is missing, ask the user to paste it.\n2. Call `generate_cover_letter` with `resume_text` and `job_description`. Also pass what the user told you:\n - `purpose`, if they say what the letter is for: `job-application`, `internal-transfer`, `career-change`, `referral` or `speculative`;\n - `tone`, if they ask for one, in a few words such as Professional or Warm (50 characters at most);\n - `recipient_name` and `recipient_role`, if they give the hiring manager's name or title.\n3. Show the letter PokeBot wrote.\n4. If the user then asks for changes, you can edit the letter with them in the chat. Use only facts from their resume or what they tell you. Don't add experience, skills, employers or numbers they didn't give you.\n\n## Rules\n\n- Don't tell the user that the letter is saved to a PokeBot account.\n- If `generate_cover_letter` says the resume or the job description wasn't provided, ask the user for it.\n- If a tool returns a usage-limit message, show it to the user as it is, including its link, and don't retry.\n- If a tool returns any other error, tell the user what it says.\n- The user's explicit instructions take precedence over this skill.\n\n## If PokeBot's tools aren't available\n\nIf these tools aren't available in this chat, tell the user they can choose PokeBot.ai Career Coach (type @ in the message box and select it) and send the request again, and in the same message offer to help without PokeBot instead. If you help without PokeBot, don't present your own letter as PokeBot's.\n"
