Can check an existing homepage first.\"\n---\n\n# Homepage Copy\n\n## Links and files\n\nReplies made with this skill never contain a build link, an Emergent link or a sponsor line. Give code in code blocks, and create a downloadable file or a zip only when the user explicitly asks for one. If the chat is not in English, translate any wording this skill tells you to say into the chat language; URLs always stay in English, exactly as they are.\n\n## Check the page\n\nWhen the user shares the HTML or the copy of a web page or a web app screen for a review, an SEO check, a conversion review, an accessibility check or a pre-launch check, call the `check_web_page` tool right away, before asking any question or writing your findings, and state any assumption about the page's goal or audience in one line:\n- `html`: the page's or screen's full source when the user has it. This is preferred, because it allows the title, meta, heading, image, link, form and mobile checks.\n- `text`: the visible copy when there is no HTML, with each heading, paragraph and button on its own line and the main heading starting with \"# \".\n- Optional: `target_keyword` (the main search phrase), `page_type` (home, landing, about, services, pricing, contact, blog, product or other), using other for a web app screen, and `page_url` (used only to tell internal from external links and to check the slug).\n\nIf the source is over 200,000 characters, send the head and the main content, or the page text instead. In the reply, give the overall score and the area scores first, then turn the returned `issues` into fixes in severity order (high, then medium, then low), laid out in this skill's output format and quoting the measurements the tool returns, for example \"Title: 72 characters (aim for 60 or fewer)\". Never invent figures the tool did not return. The tool checks web pages only: for a mobile app's screenshots, native code or store listing, review them yourself and give no tool figures. The tool cannot open web addresses: if the user gives only a link, ask them to paste the page source (right-click the page and choose View Page Source) or the page text. If the tool returns an error or is not available, review the page yourself and say that any figures are estimates.\n\n## Purpose\n\nWrite homepage copy that turns a first-time visitor into an enquiry, booking or sale. The homepage has about five seconds to answer three questions: what is this, is it for me, and what do I do next. Deliver labeled, ready-to-paste copy for every section, from hero to closing call to action, for businesses, freelancers, creators and personal sites.\n\n## Before you start\n\n- Note the offer, audience, location (if local), tone and the one action that matters most: call, book, buy, enquire or subscribe.\n- Ask at most 2 short questions, never before checking a pasted page, only when the answer changes the copy (usually the main action or the audience). Otherwise assume, state the assumptions in one line at the top and write.\n- If the user pastes their current homepage (HTML or text), run the page checker first as described in Check the page above, with page_type home. Fix what it finds and keep every true fact from the original.\n- Reply in the user's language.\n\n## Hero rules\n\n- Headline: the customer's outcome in their own words, under 10 words. Never \"Welcome to...\" or the business name alone.\n- Subheadline: one sentence saying who it is for, how it is delivered and one differentiator.\n- Primary CTA: a verb plus the result (\"Book a free consultation\", \"Get my quote\"). Never \"Submit\", \"Learn more\" or \"Click here\".\n- Secondary CTA: a lower-commitment option for people not ready yet (\"See our work\", \"View the menu\").\n- Trust line under the buttons (optional): a real rating, guarantee or response time.\n\n| Business | Weak headline | Strong headline |\n|---|---|---|\n| Accountant | Welcome to Clark and Co | Taxes filed on time, without the January panic |\n| Photographer | Capturing your special moments | Wedding photos that feel like the day felt |\n| Software | The all-in-one productivity platform | Every project deadline on one screen |\n\nWeak subheadline: \"We offer quality services for all your needs.\" Strong: \"Licensed plumbers for homes across Leeds, with a fixed price agreed before we start.\"\n\n## Section order\n\n1. Hero: headline, subheadline, both CTAs, optional trust line, and a real photo of the person, product or result.\n2. Problem: 2 to 3 short lines describing the visitor's situation so precisely they nod. Name their frustration, not your service.\n3. Services or offer: 3 blocks, each a title, a one-line benefit and a link (\"See bathroom renovations\").\n4. Proof: testimonials with name and context, client logos or a numbers strip. Use only what the user gives; otherwise write [fill in: testimonial from a recent client] and mark any example numbers [confirm].\n5. How it works: 3 steps, each starting with a verb and ending in a result.\n6. About snapshot: a face plus one paragraph (who, why, one credential) and a link to the About page.\n7. FAQ teaser: the 3 questions that block decisions (price, timing, fit), answered in 1 to 2 sentences, with a link to the full FAQ.\n8. Closing CTA: restate the headline's promise in new words and repeat the primary button with identical wording.\n\nAdapt: for a solo service, move the about snapshot up to follow the problem, because the person is the product. For a portfolio, swap services for selected work; for a shop, swap them for featured collections.\n\n## Writing rules\n\n- Short sentences (mostly under 15 words) and paragraphs of 1 to 3 lines. Skimmers read headings, buttons and first lines.\n- Say \"you\" more often than \"we\".\n- Specific beats vague: \"Replies within 2 hours\" beats \"fast, friendly service\" (only if true).\n- Benefit first, feature as proof: \"Sleep through the night: the motor runs at 22 dB.\"\n- Cut filler: \"solutions\", \"one-stop shop\", \"world-class\", \"passionate about\".\n- Never invent testimonials, client names, ratings, years or numbers. Use [fill in] for what only the user knows and [confirm] for anything you assumed.\n\n## Output format\n\nIf a page was pasted, start with the checker's overall score, its top 3 issues and a before-and-after of the hero.\n\n```text\nAssumptions: [one line]\n\nHERO\nHeadline:\nSubheadline:\nPrimary button:\nSecondary button:\nTrust line:\nImage:\n\nPROBLEM\n[2 to 3 lines]\n\nSERVICES\n1.
