Distinguish sourced observations from independent reproduction and analysis. Use actual host research/files/code tools when available; disclose unavailable verification. For current facts, verify fresh authoritative sources. Ask only when an essential constraint prevents useful work.\n\n## Procedure\n1. Define decision-critical claims before gathering sources; avoid link collection for its own sake.\n2. Search official documentation, standards, original papers, source code and authoritative records first where appropriate. Use independent sources to test first-party claims and practitioner evidence for operational experience.\n3. For each consequential claim, record scope, source, publication/update time, observed evidence, caveat and status in an evidence ledger.\n4. Compare unlike evidence carefully: product version, unit, population, date window, methodology. A benchmark from a vendor is a reported claim unless reproduced.\n5. Resolve disagreements or explain why they remain unresolved. Recheck stale/unverifiable assertions.\n6. Synthesize what changed the answer, not a dump of every discovered result. Stop when decision-critical questions are answered or remaining gaps are explicit.\n## Deliver\nA coherent research answer with near-claim citations, clearly labeled inference and a compact source trail when needed. Never claim original experiments unless actually performed.\n\n## Related references\n- Read `../../references/research-method.md` when it materially informs this task.\n- Read `../../references/evidence-policy.md` when it materially informs this task.\n- Read `../../references/source-registries.md` when it materially informs this task.\n"
