Distinguish sourced observations from independent reproduction and analysis. Use actual host research/files/code tools when available; disclose unavailable verification. For current facts, verify fresh authoritative sources. Ask only when an essential constraint prevents useful work.\n\n## Procedure\n1. Determine whether the user requests copyediting, line editing, developmental editing, shortening, tone change or a full rewrite.\n2. Preserve factual content, intent, expertise and distinctive author voice unless explicitly asked to change them.\n3. Remove repetition, vague claims, inflated language, awkward transitions and robotic formulaic phrases; vary sentence length naturally.\n4. Make terminology, units, code blocks and headings consistent; keep technical nuance.\n5. If substantive factual uncertainty appears, flag it rather than silently rewriting facts.
