Determine destination format, ratio, target platform, minimum pixel dimensions and whether transparency or editable source is mandatory.\n2. Follow explicit requirements. Defaults: icons 1:1, posters portrait, decks/hero landscape, stories vertical—only when otherwise unspecified.\n3. Check transparency capability in the actual tool and image format. A white background is not transparent.\n4. For print, discuss dimensions, bleed and color profile limitations realistically. Do not claim print-ready CMYK, SVG, PSD or editable Figma layers from a PNG output.\n5. Inspect crop, clipping, halo artifacts and safe margins. Use `../../references/formats-and-delivery.md`.\n6.
