Check whether their VAT number is registered, whether they have a valid EORI number for customs, and whether they are on the Peppol network for e-invoices and electronic orders. Use when the user gives a VAT or EORI number, asks whether a business is VAT registered, needs an EORI for a shipment, or asks whether a partner can receive Peppol invoices.\n---\n\nUse this workflow when the user wants to check a UK or EU trading partner. The user's own instructions take priority over these steps.\n\n## Steps\n\n1. Call `check_uk_eu_trading_partner` with the VAT number, the EORI number, or both, including the country prefix. When the user gives only a company name, ask for the VAT or EORI number: the tool does not search by name.\n2. The widget shows each registry's answer. Reply with the verdict for each number checked (registered, not registered, or registry unavailable), the registered name and address when the registry returned one, and whether the business is on Peppol.\n3. For a UK (GB) VAT number, say it was format-checked only and point the user to HMRC's checker, linked in the result, for a live answer.\n4. For an EU business outside Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Portugal, the EORI is not derived from the VAT number. If the user needs the EORI checked, ask for it.\n\n## Rules\n\n- Report the registry answer exactly. A registry that is down is \"unavailable\", never \"invalid\".\n- These are live registry answers at the time of the check. They do not cover credit, sanctions or Companies House; say so if the user asks whether a partner is safe to trade with.\n- Never guess or construct a VAT or EORI number for the user.\n"
