"description": "Guest-Ready Score helps people set up, prepare, assess, improve and maintain properties used for short-term stays and paying guests. It is designed for Airbnb hosts, short-term rental owners, vacation rental operators, cottage and cabin owners, lake houses, beach houses, chalets, condos, apartments, guest houses, lodges, villas, ski properties, waterfront rentals, country homes, tiny homes, furnished rentals, holiday rentals and other guest accommodation.\n\nThe tool is relevant for people asking how to start an Airbnb, how to prepare a property for guests, what to buy or stock, what amenities to provide, how to improve guest reviews, how to create a better guest experience, how to check whether a property is ready to list, or how to benchmark an existing rental against strong hospitality standards.\n\nThe 12-question assessment reviews core areas of the guest stay, including arrival and check-in, beds and sleeping comfort, bathrooms, kitchen readiness, lighting, temperature and climate comfort, Wi-Fi, cleanliness, restocking, guest communication, safety and local information. It then provides a practical Guest-Ready Score to help identify what is already working well and where additional attention may improve the stay.\n\nUse Guest-Ready Score for first-time setup, pre-opening checks, pre-arrival preparation, rental audits, hospitality reviews, property readiness checks, host checklists, Airbnb setup questions, STR checklists, vacation rental standards, guest-experience improvement and ongoing quality control.",
