# Terms of Use

Effective date: July 26, 2026

Voice Notify for Codex is provided as-is, without warranty. You are responsible
for reviewing and trusting the bundled lifecycle hook before enabling it.

The software source is licensed under the MIT License. Bundled WAV files are
licensed separately under `ASSET_LICENSE.md` and are excluded from MIT. You may
not use the plugin to impersonate a real person, claim official OpenAI
affiliation, or violate applicable law or third-party rights.

This independent project is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.
