# Terms of Use

These terms apply to the open-source LinkedIn Animated Infographics plugin and repository.

## License

The software is provided under the repository's MIT License. The MIT License governs permission to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the software, subject to its terms.

## Your content and rights

You are responsible for the material you provide to the plugin and for confirming that you have the rights needed to use, reproduce, modify, and publish that material.

Do not use the plugin to publish confidential information, credentials, private URLs, third-party assets you cannot redistribute, fabricated evidence, or misleading representations of a real product or person.

## Generated output

Generated infographics, HTML, GIFs, captions, and other output should be reviewed before publication. Automated validation can catch defined classes of errors, but it does not guarantee factual accuracy, legal clearance, accessibility, platform acceptance, or business results.

When the plugin uses evidence or reference material, the user remains responsible for the source material and the final publication decision.

## Community gallery

Submitting a demo to the community gallery is optional and requires explicit user consent and rights confirmation.

A community submission is proposed through a GitHub pull request. The publisher must not auto-merge the pull request or push directly to upstream `main`. The maintainer may accept, reject, request changes to, or remove community material at their discretion.

By submitting a community demo, the contributor represents that they have permission to publish the submitted `demo.gif`, `index.html`, and `demo.json` under the license stated in the demo metadata.

## External services

ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, GitHub, and any connected tools or services are provided by their respective operators and are subject to their own terms, permissions, and availability. This repository does not control those services.

## No warranty

The software is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty, consistent with the MIT License. Use it at your own risk and review outputs before relying on or publishing them.
