# Look Who's Driving (Volvo Trucks · 2014)

## Insight
If Volvo trucks are so precisely engineered they can execute extraordinary feats, then even unusual "drivers" should be able to demonstrate that control. The product proof can be pushed to its most absurd limits.

## Mechanic
A four-year-old girl steers a Volvo FMX truck via remote control through a narrow canyon — demonstrating the truck's responsiveness and precision. The contrast between child driver and massive vehicle is the demonstration.

## Why it worked
The Epic Split established Volvo Trucks' demonstration format. This executes on the same template with an escalation: if Van Damme can do a split, a child can steer the truck. Each demo in the series asks "what's the most extreme proof?" The absurdist escalation is the brand's personality.

## Steal
Once you have a proven demonstration format, build a franchise from it by escalating the improbability of the demonstrator or the condition. The series becomes more memorable than any single execution.
