# Love Has No Labels (Ad Council · 2015)

## Insight
Bias operates on appearance — remove the visual cues and what's left is the universal shape of human connection.

## Mechanic
A large X-ray screen erected in a public space shows only skeletons; behind it, diverse couples and families — LGBTQ+, interracial, interfaith, multigenerational — embrace and dance. Then each pair steps out from behind the screen, revealing themselves to the crowd.

## Why it worked
Viewers first experience love as undifferentiated human contact, then discover they have been watching something they might have prejudged. The audience catches their own bias in real time — it is a self-experiment, not a lecture.

## Steal
Hide identity, show shared humanity, then reveal identity. The sequence makes the audience discover the prejudice themselves rather than being told they have it.
