# Stairlift (Clash of Clans · 2015)

## Insight
Age is the last demographic mobile gaming was expected to reach. An elderly player contradicts every assumption about who the game is for — and reveals that the compulsion to raid is fundamentally human, not generational.

## Mechanic
A spot featuring an elderly player on a stairlift, deeply absorbed in Clash of Clans, playing with the same intensity as any teenager. The domestic, slow-paced setting contrasts with the warfare on the screen.

## Why it worked
The archetype inversion is maximally unexpected — stairlift as raid vehicle. Extending the "Revenge" campaign logic to the most demographically incongruous player amplifies the brand's implicit claim: this game is for everyone, and everyone gets obsessed.

## Steal
To communicate universal appeal without claiming it, show the most unlikely user in their most unlikely context, behaving exactly like the core user. The contrast does the work the copy would otherwise explain.
