An opponent whose rhetoric included racial slurs, mockery of the disabled, and misogyny was not just a political problem — he was a parenting problem. ## Mechanic A film showing children watching TV footage of the opponent's inflammatory statements — their expressions registering the words. The implicit question: what role model are we presenting? No need to argue policy; the argument is moral and parental. ## Why it worked Long-form drama (P16): the film's power accumulates through children's reactions rather than through argument or counter-attack. Truth telling (P13): the footage is real; nothing is fabricated. The parental framing transcended political affiliation — it was an appeal to a value (what kind of person do we want our children to become?) that crossed party lines. ## Steal When the opponent's own words are damaging, the most powerful ad is a documentary compilation of those words with the right witness. Children watching and reacting is the most credible audience proxy because they haven't yet learned to rationalise. ## Related - Pattern: [[../MOC-pattern.md#p16]] - Sibling: [[apple-1984-1984.md|1984]] - Sibling: [[apple-think-different-1997.md|Think Different]] --- *Author: Serge Shima ([t.me/aimastersme](https://t.me/aimastersme) · [sergeshima.com](https://sergeshima.com) · [aimasters.me](https://aimasters.me)) · License: CC BY 4.0 — attribution required · Source: [smixs/creative-director-skill](https://github.com/smixs/creative-director-skill)*
