# World Cup Delivery (PedidosYa · 2022)

## Insight
During the World Cup, Argentina's delivery platforms see predictable surge patterns around match times. But what if the delivery app could anticipate exactly when to deliver — before the goal that would cause the surge?

## Mechanic
PedidosYa used real-time match data to predict when goals were most likely and delivered orders to arrive at peak celebration moments. The brand made itself part of the celebration rather than adjacent to it. Orders were promoted as "World Cup delivery" with match-timing guarantees.

## Why it worked
The campaign hijacks the cultural moment of the World Cup (P05) while making customers collaborators in the timing game (P09). The product delivery IS the execution — not a campaign about delivery, but delivery as the event. In Argentina during a World Cup run, no higher emotional context exists.

## Steal
Find the predictable emotional peaks in your audience's calendar year. Design your product delivery to arrive at those peaks — not the advertising about the product, but the product itself.
