# Terms of Use

By installing or using Progress Percent Plans, you agree to these terms.

## Purpose

The plugin helps ChatGPT and Codex display and maintain evidence-backed progress percentages for multi-step plans. Percentages are workflow indicators, not guarantees of completion time, cost, correctness, or delivery date.

## Acceptable use

You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the plugin under the MIT License. You remain responsible for reviewing plans, outputs, changes, and decisions produced while using it.

## Availability

The plugin is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Its behavior may vary with host-product capabilities and updates.

## Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the plugin.

## Changes

Updated terms will be published in this repository with a revised effective date.
