# Terms of Use — Italian Investor

Italian Investor is an open-source analysis and simulation tool. By using it, you acknowledge the following limitations.

## Informational use only

Italian Investor provides portfolio analysis, tax-aware simulations, source-verification workflows, and deterministic calculations. It does not provide personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice and does not replace a licensed professional, tax adviser, broker, intermediary, or the official calculation performed by a financial institution or tax authority.

## No execution of financial transactions

The project does not place orders, transfer money or crypto-assets, access brokerage accounts, or execute investment transactions. Users remain responsible for any decision or action taken outside the plugin.

## Verification required

Tax rules, product classifications, KIDs, prospectuses, rates, exemptions, and legislation can change. The skill is designed to require current authoritative sources for material conclusions, but users should independently verify important results before relying on them.

If required inputs or reliable classifications are missing, the expected behavior is to stop or return an incomplete/scenario-based result rather than invent a precise answer.

## No warranty

The software and skill are provided under the MIT License and on an "as is" basis, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

## User responsibility

Users are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data they provide and for protecting any sensitive financial or personal information they choose to upload to the host AI platform.

## Third-party services

Use of ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, GitHub, brokers, issuers, public databases, and other third-party services remains subject to those services' own terms and policies.

## Open-source license

The source code is licensed under the MIT License. These Terms describe use of the Italian Investor workflow/plugin and do not replace the repository's `LICENSE` file.
