# Evidence framework

| Level | Meaning | Treatment |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `explicit_scripture` | The relevant biblical text states it | Preserve unless the project intentionally depicts another moment |
| `strongly_supported` | Multiple strong sources or direct period evidence support it | Use as the normal reconstruction |
| `plausible` | Compatible with available evidence but not established | May be chosen; label as a creative choice |
| `uncertain` | Evidence is weak, disputed, or missing | Present alternatives or request a decision |
| `avoid` | Contradicted, anachronistic, misleading, or culturally inappropriate | Exclude and explain why |

Each claim should include `claim_id`, statement, evidence level, source IDs, Scripture reference when applicable, visual implication, alternatives, and uncertainty or disagreement note.

Do not upgrade a claim merely because it appears in many derivative websites. Independent evidence and source quality matter more than repetition.

## Research deliverables

- `full_brief`: 1,000–2,000 words. This is the canonical research synthesis saved with the project and includes sourced claims, disagreements, visual implications, uncertainties, and avoidances.
- `public_summary`: approximately 200 words for sharing in OBI. Derive it only from the full brief, preserve important qualifications, and introduce no new factual claims.

The public summary is a communication layer, not a replacement for the full brief.
