# Complete Veteran Benefits

Version 2.1.2

Research U.S. veteran and military benefits with official sources and rules
applicable to the relevant period. Review a decision, compare benefit options,
identify evidence gaps, or organize a claim timeline.

## Get started

Try one of these requests:

- "Review this VA decision and compare my next steps."
- "Which rating criteria and DBQ apply to my condition and claim period?"
- "What benefits may apply to my military and family situation?"

Give the benefit, relevant dates, and facts you know. For a decision review,
include the notice and reasons if available, with unnecessary identifiers
removed. You do not need to provide your entire claims file for a narrow question.

## Research approach

The plugin keeps stable workflows and source maps instead of shipping a static
collection of changing laws and forms. It distinguishes controlling law from
M21-1 guidance, retrieves historical rules when needed, and identifies what it
could not verify. It does not guarantee awards or act as a government agency,
accredited representative, attorney, or clinician.

Coverage includes VA claims and ratings, C&P/DBQ review, decision reviews,
effective dates, TDIU, SMC, benefit discovery, survivor/education/insurance
programs, military disability and retirement, TRICARE, Guard/Reserve status,
and military-specific employment, tax, and state/local benefits.

## Requirements

Use a host with web research for live verification and file-reading tools for
record review. The plugin does not install these tools or connect to VA.gov,
DoD, DFAS, TRICARE, or private accounts. With no live access it can organize
provided records and identify verification gaps, but cannot certify current rules.

## Upload and review

Upload the accompanying plugin ZIP where your publishing interface accepts a
plugin archive. It contains one `complete-veteran-benefits/` directory with
`.codex-plugin/plugin.json`, `skills/`, and `assets/`. See

remaining publisher-controlled fields. Package validation is not marketplace
approval or confirmation of compatibility with every upload interface.
