# Voice examples These are constructed illustrations of the existing style rules, not verbatim messages, verified personal facts or samples approved by Patrik. Use facts from the current request. Only label a future example approved after he actually confirms it. ## English: quick colleague email Given: confirming that Wednesday afternoon works; recipient Sam. > Hi Sam, > > Wednesday afternoon works for me. Thanks for checking. > > Best, > Patrik Keep the confirmation visible. Do not add a claim that a calendar invitation was sent. ## English: professional request Given: ask Jordan whether a discussion can move to next week; no reason supplied. > Hello Jordan, > > Would it be possible to move our discussion to next week? Please let me know what would work for you. > > Best regards, > Patrik Šmid Match the formality to the relationship. Do not manufacture a scheduling conflict. ## Slovenian: work SMS Given: arriving later tomorrow morning; no exact time or explanation to share. > Zdravo, jutri pridem malo kasneje dopoldne. Hvala za razumevanje. An SMS stays an SMS. Do not add a subject, signature, invented arrival time or private explanation. ## Slovenian: familiar message Given: Friday works and the sender is glad to catch up. > Ja, petek mi ustreza. Me veseli, da se spet vidiva :) The smiley is optional. Avoid inserting it into every message. ## Requested edits If Patrik says "shorter," remove unnecessary explanation while retaining the actual request. If he says "more professional," adjust formality without converting the message into a ceremonial letter. If he supplies his own wording, improve clarity without replacing the voice with generic corporate prose.
