Every subsequent taste measures itself against that first experience. The emotional power of the brand lives in the memory of the first encounter. ## Mechanic A film exploring the emotional experience of encountering Coca-Cola for the first time — told across different people in different situations, with the shared recognition of that specific sensory memory as the connecting thread. ## Why it worked P16 (long-form drama) building emotional territory around the product's most powerful brand truth: the sensory memory of first experience. P09 (user as co-author) through the shared recognition mechanic — audiences recall their own first taste and project it onto the film. The campaign activates personal memory without needing to manufacture a new one. ## Steal Every product has a "first encounter" that its most loyal users remember. Making that memory the content of a campaign activates a personal archive that no other brand can access. You are not creating an emotion; you are unlocking one that already exists. ## Related - Pattern: [[../MOC-pattern.md#p16]] - Sibling: [[apple-1984-1984.md|1984]] - Sibling: [[apple-think-different-1997.md|Think Different]] - Emotion match: [[metro-trains-dumb-ways-to-die-2012.md|Dumb Ways to Die]] --- *Author: Serge Shima ([t.me/aimastersme](https://t.me/aimastersme) · [sergeshima.com](https://sergeshima.com) · [aimasters.me](https://aimasters.me)) · License: CC BY 4.0 — attribution required · Source: [smixs/creative-director-skill](https://github.com/smixs/creative-director-skill)*
