# The Ride (unknown · 2018)

## Insight
TODO: Verify brand. A long-form film using the metaphor of a journey — physical or otherwise — to explore a human truth about connection, transition, or the passage of time.

## Mechanic
A long-form narrative film built around a shared journey — a car trip, a commute, a road — that becomes the setting for a human story about connection, loss, or change. The product's role emerges through the context of the journey.

## Why it worked
Long-form drama (P16): the journey format has built-in narrative architecture — departure, progress, arrival — that provides structure without requiring complex plot. Truth telling (P13): if the human story rings true, the product gains credibility by association. Journey films are universal because everyone understands the emotional grammar of leaving and arriving.

## Steal
The journey is the most reliable narrative container for technology and telecom because it is inherently about connection across distance. Who someone calls, what they use along the way, who they come home to — these moments write themselves.
