--- id: types/action kind: type name: Action applies_to_kind: entity lens: shape: hexagon color: "#d2a85e" --- Something that happens: a battle, a storm, a signing, a red moment. An episodic occurrence — anchor it with `when`/`where` as known; vagueness is legal. Recurrent patterns are `action/practice`. Actions are entities. What makes one an action is that it happens, and happening is not a kernel mechanic: `when` and `where` are open to every artifact, and the flat ontology already refuses to privilege the actor over the acted-upon. The hexagon and colour used to be hard-coded in the viewer against a kind; declaring them here is what the lens is for. `participates` pins its `action` member to this type, so the one guarantee the kind used to carry survived the move (KERNEL v0.17).
