# Proxyman MCP Tool Catalog

This snapshot covers the 70 tools implemented by the reviewed Proxyman MCP server. It is a routing guide, not a schema contract. Always use the connected server's `tools/list` for current availability, inputs, annotations, and enums.

Legend (behavioral routing; the connected server's live annotations remain authoritative):

- **R**: advertised read-only by the reviewed MCP annotations.
- **N**: behaviorally non-mutating, but not advertised read-only by the reviewed annotations.
- **W**: changes Proxyman or sends/exports traffic.
- **D**: destructive according to MCP annotations; obtain immediate confirmation.
- **P**: platform-sensitive; verify live availability and applicability.

## Important Reviewed Enum Snapshots

Use these to choose a workflow, then confirm exact values in the live input schema:

- `filter_flows` keys: `url`, `host`, `method`, `statusCode`, `requestHeader`, `responseHeader`, `requestBody`, `responseBody`, `client`.
- Filter matches: `contains`, `notContains`, `startWith`, `endWith`, `equal`, `notEqual`, `regex`, `wildcard`; multi-filter combination is `and` or `or`.
- `export_flows` formats: `har`, `proxymanlogv2`. It accepts optional `flow_ids`; omitting them exports all current flows.
- `generate_code` targets: `curl`, `python`, `swift_urlsession`, `swift_alamofire`, `swift_moya`, `go`, `node_fetch`, `node_http`, `axios`, `javascript_jquery`, `kotlin_okhttp`, `java_httpclient`, `dart`, `php_guzzle`, `rust_reqwest`, `objective_c`, `httpie`, `har`, `postman`.
- Global `toggle_tool` names: `breakpoint`, `map_local`, `map_remote`, `blacklist`, `scripting`, `dns_spoofing`, `network_throttling`, `whitelist`, `reverse_proxy`, `no_caching`, `external_proxy`.
- `list_rules` families: `all`, `breakpoint`, `maplocal`, `mapremote`, `blacklist`, `scripting`, `whitelist`, `network_condition`, `dns_spoofing`. Reverse Proxy uses its own list tool.
- WebSocket message direction: `all`, `client`, `server`.
- Certificate installation mode: `automatic` or `manual` in the reviewed macOS schema.
- Terminal target: `apple_terminal`, `iterm2`, `ghostty`.
- External proxy kind: `http`, `https`, `socks`, `pac`.
- `open_proxyman_screen`: `automatic_setup`, `manual_setup`, `ios_device_guide`, `ios_simulator_guide`, `android_device_guide`, `android_emulator_guide`, `certificate_dashboard`, `ssl_proxying`, `reverse_proxy`, `atlantis`, `proxy_settings`.
- `run_guided_setup`: `chrome_current_profile`, `chrome_new_profile`, `firefox`, `android_emulator_override`, `android_emulator_revert`.

Rule method schemas accept the established HTTP methods and uppercase `QUERY` where documented. HTTP Compose uses header objects shaped as `[{"key":"...","value":"..."}]` and UTF-8 `body_text`; inspect its live schema before constructing a call.

## Reviewed MCP Annotations
