Plain English is an open-source writing plugin distributed under the MIT License. It provides editorial instructions and examples for Claude Code, Codex, and ChatGPT.

The plugin's suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular audience. Review edited text before publishing or relying on it. Do not use the plugin as a substitute for legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional review.

Use of Claude Code, Codex, or ChatGPT remains subject to the terms and policies of the relevant host product. The plugin is provided without warranties or guarantees, as described in the MIT License.
