# Terms of use

Effective date: 2026-09-10

codex-sdlc is provided under the Apache License 2.0. Use, reproduction, modification, and distribution are governed by that license.

Users remain responsible for reviewing generated plans, repository changes, command evidence, approvals, and release decisions. The framework does not replace organizational security, legal, testing, or deployment controls. Users must have permission to access and modify each repository and must comply with the terms of Codex, npm, GitHub, and any other tools they choose to use.

The software is provided without warranties or conditions except as stated in the Apache License 2.0.
