# Privacy and data handling

Effective date: September 18, 2026. Applies to Dialogue Memories 0.1.0, published by Kentaro Takemura / monku.ai.

Dialogue Memories contains instructions for writing with an AI assistant. It includes no developer-operated server, MCP server, account integration, analytics, or background collection. The plugin itself does not send your conversations or writing to its developer or store them in a separate developer database.

The application in which you use the plugin processes your prompts, files, and generated writing under that application's terms, privacy policy, and settings. Dialogue Memories does not change those settings or promise that the host will not retain data. Any other tools or services you choose to use have their own data handling practices.

Personal memories and family stories may contain sensitive information. Share only material you are comfortable providing to your host application. The writing instructions distinguish preparing a piece from permission to publish it and discourage automatically sharing entire source conversations.

GitHub hosts this repository and its issue tracker. An issue you post may be public. Please provide a fictional or anonymized example, not private conversations, family records, credentials, or other sensitive material. GitHub handles account and usage data under its own policy.
