# PDF Parser Terms of Use

PDF Parser is an open-source document-processing workflow published by Ivypath Education under the MIT License.

## Authorized use

You may use PDF Parser only with documents you are authorized to access, upload, transform, and store. You are responsible for respecting copyright, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, and data-protection obligations that apply to your documents.

## Third-party services

Remote parsing uses LlamaCloud only when you invoke it. You must provide your own `LLAMA_CLOUD_API_KEY` and are responsible for your LlamaCloud account, charges, configuration, and compliance with LlamaCloud's current terms and privacy practices. Ivypath Education does not provide, proxy, or share an API key.

## Sensitive information

Remove unnecessary personal, student, account, institution, medical, financial, and other sensitive information before sending a document to any external parsing service. Keep source documents and raw parsing results in an access-controlled location.

## Output and review

OCR, table extraction, layout reconstruction, and automated validation can be incomplete or incorrect. Review important output against the rendered source before relying on it. The software does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

## Warranty and liability

The software is provided under the warranty and liability terms of the MIT License. Use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
