# Story Development

Clarify the premise, genre, audience, format, tone, point of view, length, central conflict, stakes, and ending preference. Build a logline, theme options, beat sheet, chapter or scene outline, and a short list of unresolved decisions. Preserve the writer's intent and label suggestions as optional. Do not over-specify when the writer wants discovery.
