Journalism's job is to report what it found, not to split the difference. ## Mechanic A Twitter thread/social post in which The Times restated, side by side, what the accused said and what the evidence showed — demonstrating that the "he said, she said" frame was false when one side was documented and the other was denial. The mechanic is the argument. ## Why it worked Truth telling (P13): the documentation speaks for itself when presented without editorial framing. The social format gave the argument native context — this was the platform where the "he said, she said" framing was most often deployed. No long form needed; the side-by-side is enough. ## Steal When the argument can be made through simple juxtaposition of documented claim versus rebuttal, the most elegant format is the side-by-side. Do not editorialise what the evidence says for you. ## Related - Pattern: [[../MOC-pattern.md#p13]] - Sibling: [[apple-1984-1984.md|1984]] - Sibling: [[calm-the-last-photo-2022.md|The Last Photo]] --- *Author: Serge Shima ([t.me/aimastersme](https://t.me/aimastersme) · [sergeshima.com](https://sergeshima.com) · [aimasters.me](https://aimasters.me)) · License: CC BY 4.0 — attribution required · Source: [smixs/creative-director-skill](https://github.com/smixs/creative-director-skill)*
