# Break the build into tasks

Codex will read the scope, PRD, and spec, then produce a sequenced build checklist with verification checkpoints.

You choose how involved to be — twice. Co-design the plan with Codex, or hand the planning off. And during the build: at times, Codex can stop and get you to look at what's been made so far — or run through the entire checklist itself and leave you with an MVP. It's up to you.

Output: `docs/hackathon-build/checklist.md`. Next: the build — say you're ready, or type `$build-project`.
