# Commentary / Satire / Video Essay

Apply `./genre-routing.md`. Resolve a concrete artifact, host stance, lane, evidence and
length; both artifact and stance appear within30s. No vague trend recap without an object
of analysis. Use actual persona facts only, never another creator's rituals/catchphrases.

Three distinct hooks: cold sketch, raw artifact→reaction, true discovery, real experiment
stake, verdict-first, deadpan definition/anti-guide, supported superlative or real confession.
An earnest essay usually starts from the artifact. Do not manufacture labor or personal facts.

Comedic long form: opening0–3%, premise3–10%, explicit entry then clip-react loop10–80%.
Each30–90s cycle:≤20s source material→literal restatement→logic interrogation→hypothetical
act-out→tag. Escalate absurdity, deepen/shift at40–60%, give a sincere zoom-out80–90%,
optional original outro≤20s. Satirical guide: straight definition→tiers/steps→12–18setup/
twist units around15–25s→final reversal onto speaker/viewer→hard stop. Earnest essay:
artifact→hedged thesis by15%→count concrete detail→name/define technique→corroborate→
interpret→replay so perception improves→human stakes in last20%→second-person close.

Speak as a peer in present tense. Own broad opinions. Perform confusion before explaining;
jokes target output/behavior/institutions, not appearance or fans. Real harm needs evidence.
Self-deprecation can precede a punch when authentic; do not invent biography. Escalation
can move literal contradiction→hypothetical scene→wider consequence. Plant a real odd
line for2–3callbacks only in longer work, paying the final one. Satire lands reversal as
the final clause; comedic loops vary tags/act-outs, essays can use a count/replay/delight
without compulsory jokes. Don't explain the joke or withhold ordinary facts as fake suspense.

At≤4min: artifact+stance in sentence1,2–3compressed clip-react cycles, clips≤8s, ascending
absurdity, one sincere closing line, one loop/callback maximum. No intro sketch, origin
story, mid-video pivot or scaffold. Roughly350–420host words/3min plus source air; timestamp
15–30s,3–5retention rows. Vertical starts on the artifact within2s. Deliver three hooks,
full script with actual clip/act-out cues and timestamped escalation/callback map.
