# Cause → Effect / 원인 → 결과 구조

- English name: Cause → Effect
- Korean name: 원인 → 결과 구조
- Selection category: analysis
- Use when: Use when the topic depends on explaining why something happened and what followed.
- Avoid when: Avoid when causality is speculative or unproven.

## Writing Pattern

**Organize the section flow around causality**

- The core is “what caused what.” Design the story with a clear cause-and-effect chain.

**Example structure**

- Phenomenon overview (What happened?)
- Cause analysis (Why did it happen?)
- Effect explanation (What impact did it have?)
- Response or lesson (What should we do?)
- Summary and proposal

**Each major section should include**

- Section heading
- Core paragraph purpose (1–2 sentences)
- Use causal language and, when possible, include objective data or observations to increase persuasiveness.
- Even if multiple causes exist, synthesize them into one primary flow.

## Example Writing Outline

1. **Recent Increase in Customer Churn**: Over the past three months, churn among premium plan users has more than doubled.
2. **Churn Cause Analysis**: Customers pointed to insufficient features for the price and service instability as main drivers.
3. **Results and Impact**: The wave of cancellations reduced revenue and damaged brand trust.
4. **Response Direction**: We must improve the user experience by strengthening features and speeding up support response.
5. **Summary and Proposal**: Clearly recognizing the churn causes and executing decisive countermeasures is most critical now.

## Writing Notes

- Make the causal relationship explicit.
- Maintain messaging such as “Because X happened, Y occurred,” or “As a result of X, Y emerged.”
- Focus on the central cause rather than listing many minor ones.
- Where possible, show effects with quantitative figures or real cases.
- Don’t end with analysis alone—include an action-oriented recommendation or conclusion.
