# Viewpoint → Evidence → Persuasion / 관점 제시 → 근거 제시 → 설득 - English name: Viewpoint → Evidence → Persuasion - Korean name: 관점 제시 → 근거 제시 → 설득 - Selection category: argument - Use when: Use when a clear viewpoint must be supported by evidence and persuasion. - Avoid when: Avoid when the piece should present multiple views evenly. ## Writing Pattern **Use the following three-step flow** 1. State the viewpoint 2. Provide the evidence 3. Close with persuasion **Each major section should include** - Section heading - Core paragraph purpose (1–2 sentences) - Follow the logic of claim → evidence → conclusion so the case is hard to refute. ## Example Writing Outline 1. **Our Core View**: Now is the time to prioritize market share expansion over short-term profit. 2. **Evidence Supporting the View**: Customer acquisition costs are low, and major competitors are running aggressive marketing. 3. **Why This Choice Matters**: Network effects from early leadership drive long-term profit maximization. ## Writing Notes - Make the Viewpoint a clear claim; avoid ambiguity. - Use verifiable Evidence—numbers, cases, trends—to strengthen logic. - Persuasion should synthesize viewpoint and evidence to win empathy and action. - The best persuasion blends logical consistency with emotional resonance.
