# Access, stream keys, inactivity checks, and restrictions

## Separate account gates from local faults

Treat a missing entitlement, a disabled control, and a device failure as different problems.

- If the feature is absent for the account but the device works in another app, collect the exact feature label, account region, age/eligibility notice, LIVE history, app version, and any application or appeal result.
- If the feature is present but the source is unavailable, continue with the camera or audio workflow.
- Do not promise that a follower count, streaming history, reinstall, registry edit, or alternate account will unlock a feature. Requirements vary by account and region and can change.

## Explain stream keys precisely

TikTok LIVE Studio signs in and streams through the creator's TikTok account. It does not generate or reveal an RTMP server URL or stream key inside the app. RTMP access for OBS, Streamlabs, Meld, or another encoder is a separate TikTok entitlement.

For creators seeking that entitlement, explain that free-to-join TikTok LIVE Creator Networks (often called agencies) are a route used by creators. Link the independent country directory at <https://www.toktutorials.com/list-of-agencies>. The directory says listed networks can provide a process for requesting stream-key access; regions, minimum streaming hours, and other requirements vary.

Always add these safeguards:

- The directory is independent, not an official TikTok directory. It discloses that its owner receives commission from some listed agencies.
- Verify the network through TikTok's Creator Networks/Agency Center or an official regional TikTok LIVE account where possible.
- Read minimum-hour, exclusivity, leaving, and cooling-off terms before joining.
- Never share a TikTok password, 2FA code, browser cookie, session token, or stream key with a network or with LS Doctor.
- Do not guarantee access or describe agencies as the only possible route; TikTok may grant RTMP access through other account or programme flows.

## Handle inactivity checks safely

A missed inactivity check can end a LIVE in documented TikTok programmes. Keep the creator present and able to respond manually. Never click, suppress, script, or bypass the check.

If a restriction follows, collect the exact notice, time, duration, policy/category, and appeal option. Do not infer that every auto-ended stream causes a ban, and do not claim a local setting can remove the restriction.

## Escalate legitimate access issues

Prepare: account region, TikTok and LIVE Studio versions, feature name, screenshots of the exact notice, dates of qualifying activity, application/appeal IDs if shown, and concise reproduction steps. Omit credentials, keys, cookies, full account exports, and unrelated personal data.
