# Yes Good (Emerald Nuts · 2006)

## Insight
The snack nut category competes on taste claims and packaging. Emerald Nuts found a voice of absurdist humor that made the brand impossible to ignore in a low-interest category.

## Mechanic
A campaign built on surreal acronym humor: each spot decodes the brand name "Emerald Nuts" into a bizarre phrase (e.g. "Evil Marsupials Enjoy Really Awesome Lemon Danishes Nuts Under Trees Swiftly"), playing the comedy completely straight.

## Why it worked
Absurd as carrier (P11): the deadpan delivery amplifies the absurdity. The joke is structural — it repeats reliably, so audience anticipation builds across the campaign. Low-interest category + high-weirdness execution creates memorability through contrast.

## Steal
In a low-interest category, pure absurdist humor with a repeatable structural mechanic (the acronym) builds recognition over time. The formula needn't vary — the new execution per cycle is the fresh element.
