When a family member who disapproves of your lifestyle choices watches HBO content with you that validates or depicts that lifestyle, the shared viewing becomes an involuntary disclosure and confrontation.

## Mechanic
A short film in the "Awkward Family Viewing" series exploring the layered discomfort when HBO content inadvertently surfaces personal truths in a family viewing situation — with HBO Go offered as the exit from communal screening.

## Why it worked
The series works as a campaign because each film targets a specific relationship configuration and discomfort type, building a taxonomy of awkward viewing that collectively covers a wide audience while each individual film feels precisely targeted.
