A campaign that communicates the scale of those possibilities — the epic, the overwhelming, the unreachable — would do more than product features ever could. ## Mechanic A long-form cinematic film featuring a vast mountain of human figures — potentially thousands of intertwined bodies — as a visual metaphor for the accumulated humanity inside PlayStation's gaming worlds. Epic scale without explanation. ## Why it worked PlayStation's "Double Life" era established a brand voice of philosophical scale — gaming as a different relationship with reality. Mountain extends that territory through visual spectacle (P16 long-form craft) that communicates the impossible, epic scale of gaming experience without showing a single game. The sublime terror (overwhelming scale + wonder) is the brand emotion. ## Steal Abstract product experiences (gaming, music, travel) can be communicated through visual scale rather than product representation. If the experience is vast, make the communication vast. ## Related - Pattern: [[../MOC-pattern.md#p16]] - Sibling: [[apple-1984-1984.md|1984]] - Sibling: [[apple-think-different-1997.md|Think Different]] - Emotion match: [[guinness-surfer-1999.md|Surfer]] --- *Author: Serge Shima ([t.me/aimastersme](https://t.me/aimastersme) · [sergeshima.com](https://sergeshima.com) · [aimasters.me](https://aimasters.me)) · License: CC BY 4.0 — attribution required · Source: [smixs/creative-director-skill](https://github.com/smixs/creative-director-skill)*
