# The copy brief The post is primarily LinkedIn copy (X on request, trimmed). It is first person, in the lawyer's voice, and every claim in it traces to the confirmed receipt and the lawyer's edits in this session. Never read a profile to tune the copy; without an explicit voice request, write for a lawyer in the same practice. ## Shape 1. **Hook.** At most two sentences, at the very top. Something surprising or painful that the target reader recognises in their own work; make an emotional connection in those sentences. No preamble before it. 2. **Body.** The LQ moment in brief detail, told as a short personal story mapped from the receipt: where they started (Before), what they decided and changed (Move), what came out (Result), how they knew (Check). Show the lawyer's judgement and high agency, the moments where they framed, challenged, corrected or verified. This is what shows reputation, authority and expertise; say it through the story, not by asserting it. The technique specific enough that another lawyer could try it. Keep the receipt's limits where they matter to a reader. The tone follows the hook; otherwise celebratory. 3. **Call to action.** One. If an LQ plugin skill was actually used, invite the reader to try it themselves. If that is unclear, ask readers to comment on what their own LQ moment looks like. Include the words "My LQ Moment". Attribute time and effort figures to the lawyer as their own estimates unless the session measured them. Credit only techniques and tools actually used. ## Never - Client, counterparty or matter names, codenames, values, document content, or anything a counterparty could recognise. - Generic "AI saved me time" with no technique. - Membership, certification, endorsement, legal superiority or vendor exclusivity, implied or stated. - Co-branding, sponsors, partner mentions, or any use of the LQ name beyond "My LQ Moment" and the plugin actually used. The lawyer edits freely. Their edits are theirs; do not re-check them against the brief unless they ask.
