No soft tones, no inspiration porn, no charity framing. ## Why it worked The borrowed codes of a higher-status category (mainstream sports advertising) instantly reframed the Paralympic athlete from object of sympathy to subject of power. Category hijack via visual language. ## Steal Apply the code of a higher-status adjacent category to an undervalued subject. The audience reads the visual language first and the subject second — by the time they process who they're watching, the respect is already installed. ## Related - Pattern: [[../MOC-pattern.md#p16]] - Sibling: [[apple-1984-1984.md|1984]] - Sibling: [[apple-think-different-1997.md|Think Different]] - Emotion match: [[apple-1984-1984.md|1984]] --- *Author: Serge Shima ([t.me/aimastersme](https://t.me/aimastersme) · [sergeshima.com](https://sergeshima.com) · [aimasters.me](https://aimasters.me)) · License: CC BY 4.0 — attribution required · Source: [smixs/creative-director-skill](https://github.com/smixs/creative-director-skill)*
