# Talking head

1. Use the `talking_head_studio` tool: one front-facing portrait and one speech track (`audio_url`) become a lip-synced video.
2. The face, exactly one of: `face_url` for the user's photo (`ask_for_media` with `kind: "image"`) or a `headshot` or `create_image` output; or `face`, a stock face id from `list_presets` for `talking_head_studio` (collection `faces`).
3. The audio: the user's recording (`ask_for_media` with `kind: "audio"`) or a script spoken with `create_speech` (see `pika-speech`), whose output url you pass once it has finished.
4. Pick `mode` by speech length: `std` Kling Standard or `pro` Kling Pro take 2–300 s; `seedance` Seedance 2.5 or `wan` Wan 3.0 take 2–30 s. Default `std`. Put the setting in `scene` (e.g. "in a sunlit kitchen").
5. Call `talking_head_studio` with a fresh `request_id` and no `max_credits`, then follow the quote's `next` (it applies the user's approval mode). On a yes, call it again with the same input and `request_id` and the agreed `max_credits`.
6. Offer follow-ups: `upscale` the video, or another script on the same face.
