# Visit Earth (Skyscanner · 2020)

## Insight
Companion to "The Best Planet" — same absurdist engine, second execution. Earth as travel destination being sold to prospective visitors in the language of tourist board marketing.

## Mechanic
A tourism-board-style film promoting Earth as a destination, complete with the aspirational language and visual clichés of travel advertising, delivered with the self-awareness that makes the joke land rather than feel cynical.

## Why it worked
P11 (absurd as carrier) applied consistently: same engine as "The Best Planet" — tourist board language applied to Earth itself. The series format works because each execution is a new manifestation of the same absurdist premise without repeating the exact same joke.

## Steal
Series absurdism works when the engine generates genuinely different jokes, not just the same joke in different settings. "Best Planet" and "Visit Earth" are two different angles on the same premise — alien perspective vs. tourist board register.
