The absurdist question: what would the most dangerous musical instrument delivery look like? ## Mechanic A comedic long-form film exploring what happens when a band composed of the world's most dangerous musical instruments — presumably explosive, radioactive, or otherwise hazardous band equipment — needs to be shipped. FedEx is the only company capable of handling the shipment. ## Why it worked Absurdism (P11) used to dramatise a genuine product attribute (FedEx's capacity to handle hazardous and complex shipments) through an escalating ridiculous scenario. The long-form structure (P16) allows the absurd premise to compound through multiple surreal complications before resolving on the FedEx solution. ## Steal Dangerous or complex product attributes can be dramatised through the most extreme possible absurdist scenario requiring that capability. The scenario doesn't need to be realistic — it needs to be funny enough that the underlying capability registers. ## Related - Pattern: [[../MOC-pattern.md#p11]] - Sibling: [[metro-trains-dumb-ways-to-die-2012.md|Dumb Ways to Die]] - Sibling: [[old-spice-man-your-man-could-smell-like-2010.md|The Man Your Man Could Smell Like]] - Emotion match: [[absolut-absolut-campaign-1981.md|Absolut _____]] --- *Author: Serge Shima ([t.me/aimastersme](https://t.me/aimastersme) · [sergeshima.com](https://sergeshima.com) · [aimasters.me](https://aimasters.me)) · License: CC BY 4.0 — attribution required · Source: [smixs/creative-director-skill](https://github.com/smixs/creative-director-skill)*
